Where did spring go?

Spring came and went in a flash, and this blog feels a little neglected. But I'm back, with a few pics to share from our spring adventures. We've been pretty local, though Oscar and I did squeak in a quick trip to Oregon towards the end of May. It was so much fun, though it meant go-go-go! for me pretty nearly the second we landed back in Philly. The crazy end-of-year ride just ended yesterday and I'm so thankful to get a breath.

We went to see family, but especially to see this little guy (on the right), our nephew/cousin, Will, and his parents (see the big guy above as half of that). Will is an amazing baby, and it was so fun to see Pete and Linsey in their new(ish) roles as parents.

We also got to spend time with our other niece/cousin, Sage. I've never met a burgeoning toddler who wore a runny nose so well. She's awesome.

There were grandparents to see--Gus with darling Will.

Gum provided the music for an impromptu toddler dance party.

A visit to see great-grandma Edna. She smartly had grapes waiting for OK.

And a fun-filled afternoon with Nana and more amazing cousins...

Grayson and Griffin. Of Grayson, I can only say he is such an awesome almost fifth-grader--creative, well-spoken, and patient with all of the younger kiddos. Griffin is all smiles.

Oh, and I can't forget to mention Darcy-girl, Pop's sweet pooch. She and Oscar had a good time playing together. OK was liberal with the treats, which I think helped a bit.

Getting a lesson in "Star Wars" with Aunt Erin and Sage.

Checking out the camera with Uncle John.

 Family band!

Giant bubbles at Uncle John and Aunt Erin's house.

Pretending to drive the tractor at the Bansen Farm where John and Erin had a photo session.

A whirlwind trip, but absolutely worth it. Thanks, Oregon family, for the time you took out of your busy lives to spend with us.
